Dr. Jennifer Hess
DVM, MS, DACVAA
Dr. Hess graduated with a Biology degree from Cornell University before pursuing her DVM at the same institution. She furthered her education by obtaining a master’s degree in veterinary clinical medicine and completing a residency program at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
Her professional interests encompass specialized anesthesia for cardiac patients and effective pain management. She finds great satisfaction in navigating the challenges presented by complex cases in anesthesia. Driven by a deep admiration for animals, her passion for veterinary medicine was ignited by personal experiences with her pets and guided by a mentor within the veterinary field.
At home, Dr. Hess shares her space with two lively Australian shepherd mixes named Cinnamon and Bo, who keep her constantly engaged. Outside of work, she indulges in the joys of travel and the art of cooking for leisure.
