Meet the Vets > Dr. Howe
Dr. Howe graduated with a Bachelor of Science in zoology with a marine biology concentration from the University of Rhode Island in 1998. Thereafter, she worked briefly as a research assistant for the Graduate school of Oceanography. Her love of sailing drew her to Florida, where she lived for over 2 years before moving to St. Kitts to persue veterinary school at Ross University. She completed her training at Auburn University, and completed a medicine and surgery internship at the Center for Specialized Veterinary Care on Long Island. She has been a contributor to DVM news journal, writing on infectious disease and hepatic disorders in dogs. Her interests include emergency and internal medicine. She resides in Islip Terrace with her loves Reilly, Sula, Tigger, and Deacon.
